for all you 20 something kids, we older folk has been down this road
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22168369 Yea 1979 all over again. Difference is it was only 90 cents a gallon then. Even if you figure inflation that's what... still under $3 a gallon by today's standards. The middle class was much larger, and cost of living was much lower than it is now. This isn't similar to the situation in 1979 other than gas is being ration. The implications of this will be much further reaching than they ever were 33 years ago.
