Basically, if the numbers get too high, you can hunt them.

If you eat what you kill, you can hunt them.

If you use it for something like furs or whatever, you can hunt them.

So what has changed? Oh, wait! Nothing, really. Why would one hunt if you didn't eat or use the game for something? OH, thats right! We have city slickers that go out and kill for trophies. Dumbest thing in the world. Even American hunters do that here. I've never shot a deer that didn't get eaten.

In fact, thats why I shoot deer. Its for the meet. Any other type of hunting is either pest control or just a type of murder.
