Those stones where made during the Cold War, in the 70's, with the purpose of providing guidance for survivors of a possible nuclear holocaust! If you think again, you will see that the tips are pretty reasonable.

That being said, I think sport hunting is a bad idea.

I've see it change the hunting here. They get these huge pieces of property and cage the animals.

Dickwad city folk come out and "buy" the size of deer they want to shoot. Basically the more money you have the bigger the buck you can shoot.

Costa Rica had some huge issues. I'm not sure the blanket approach is the best idea, but the writing was on the wall.

Should be banned here too. We have far too many hunters unable to tell the difference between a deer and a human.

Currently Costa Rica has lax gun ownership laws. A person can own guns. A Corporation (that anyone can set up very easily) can own as many guns as it wants with no regulations. I'll be watching this with interest, as one of my bug out plans involves a trip to Costa Rica.

lol costa rica doesnt even have an army. and the people are already disarmed. i spoke to many people there on how they feel about guns and ALL OF THEM said they DO NOT like guns. They use machetes to cut coconuts, thats the only weapon anyone has.

so if anyone wants to march in there to take what they have, they already can.

Costa Rica is one of the most peaceful countries in the world, you guys can twist this into whatever the hell you want, doesnt change the fact that its another push by the government to save the environment.

If you look at Costa Ricas history you will see it has been nothing but the goverment protecting the land and animals from the foreignors who come in and think they can do whatever they want. Go talk to the hotels who tried to close off the rivers from the public. Police came and said you cant. So the hotels said we will charge the locals less to get in. Again the police said NO, and now its open to EVERYONE FOR FREE.

Some idiot hunters even think they help Nature !
