This is a horribly silly thread. After KAtrina and 911, of course the government is going to have contingency plans in case of disaster. Move on folks, nothing to see here.

Why didn't they come up with these contingency plans YEARS AGO????
Suddenly in 2012:
- Homeland security has purchased over a billion round of hallow-point bullets.
- NOAA, Social Security and the forest service together combined purchased a few hundred thousands bullets.
- FEMA is seeking Millions of Meals with GPS tracking for PRESIDENTIAL DECLARED DISASTERS, Disaster Housing Relief & Nuclear Teams.
- FEMA just spent nearly 300 million dollars on Temporary Housing Units for disasters.
- Lets not forget the NDAA detainment bill on New Year's eve.
- Or how about Executive Order for Resources Preparedness, giving control to the executive branch over ALL resources including ability to ration resources such as food and energy.
I can go on and on
This is all HAPPENING NOW, it wasn't a culmination over many years.
