The Bacteria That Shats Gold!

From Description:

Scientists have discovered bacteria that eats toxic material and, well, poops pure gold. This microbial magician, named Cupriavidus metallidurans, when placed in a minilab full of gold chloride, a nasty toxin, gobbled up the poison and, in about a week, processed it out as 24-karat nuggets of the precious yellow metal. The bacteria was found to be 25 times more resistant to the gold-based toxic chemical than believed and most likely does its amazing alchemy regularly in nature.

Is it the answer to the international debt crisis? Probably not. It takes gold to make gold chloride which makes the toxin about as rare as the precious metal itself—and it costs a mint to manufacture in a lab. But it's nice to know that something out there is helping our environmental cause AND making us a small profit in the process.

Nature's alchemists never cease to amaze!
There's also several plant species known to create elements within them - without the element ever being present in their air or soil.

you do the same thing when making ormus in your kitchen, you start with seawater with a percentage of gold in it and when you have converted the seawater to ormus it can now be tested to show it now has more than you started with, what about that.

This is like saying you can make hydrogen out of water. You aren't creating it, it's already there. You're just getting rid of the other stuff and that is what you're left with. Still neat none the less.

Re: The Bacteria That Shats Gold!
Not alchemy, or even close. It only strips the cloride off a solution of ALREADY EXISTING gold in salt form. There of fungi that survive off radiation in the old Cernobyl reactor, these bacteria are not anything great, just decomposers as is their place. The fungi are impressive, these bacteria are not. The ionic(salts) bonds would have broken on their own leaving metallic gold anyways.

it still takes gold [chloride ] to make gold.... now if the bacteria ate carcass or dirt to make gold then it would be good news.

Watch the video and LISTEN to the content. It takes gold to make gold chloride.

No you can't have unlimited gold with this bacteria. It just converts a gold derived chemical back into gold.

Re: The Bacteria That Shats Gold!
Gold held in arsenopyrite is what you find in the gold mine tailings ponds.

Do they have a bacteria that eats arsenic and iron and shits old gold... even one that just eats arsenic and shits out gold and iron, that would be sweet.

A small outfit could make some money going back through old tailings, recovering the last 10%.
anyway, where the price of gold is now, any technology that extracts now, what they couldn't extract before can be a moneymaker.

People read the article...it's not making gold from something else. This isn't a nuclear process. It takes gold from gold chloride...it could have commercial use but doubtful.

What you perceive to be is your reality.

I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
