Just a quick thought. People like the OP who want to live as lightly as possible are also prevented from doing so in health and happiness by you. It's your traffic fumes and pollution, the stress of living in your demented, frantic society, and the VAT (etc.) and indoctrination around everywhere that drive them into the ground. It's the overexploitation of the natural environment by the modern society that prevents them from living off the land without any interference from those that don't want to.

In my opinion, if people who have made such a gentle fottstep on the planet then need health care, it's your duty to provide it. They've suffered much more from your attitude than you have from theirs. In case you think that's an over-reaction, I apparently have the carbon monoxide levels of a heavy smoker. I got this by walking the few miles into school/college/work every day, alongside all the selfish, thoughtless (and unfit) people driving the same distance. Does that make me want to start driving, so I can poison the people who think like I do? Um, no.
