The Treaty of Paris ending our Revolutionary War said the debt would be paid, and our Constitution says it will be paid, and our 14th Amendment in the 1860's (which is obviously still in force; it's now the basis for all Constitutional interpretation) says the national debt cannot even be questioned! << I`m wondering if maybe he`s talking wartime debt, from WW2. UK paid that off years ago.... |

I don't wish harm on anyone for any reason, however if something this devastating were to happen I would keep my fingers crossed for a certain scenario to play out... This is admittedly a bit 'hippie', but could tie in to the whole global enlightenment thing that is also said to occur. So the worst happens and everything is in ruins, unable to defend or repair yourself you find yourself overwhelmed, not with force, but with charity and foreign aid from all corners of the world on a scale never seen before. This wakes everyone up showing that the world isn't as bad as we think, eventually turning all governments and armies into an international poverty eradication armada and propelling humanity towards perfection....
