Ohio is also a place that is pulling for obama even now after their 2014 electric rates went from $16mw hour to $362mw hour.

If you rent or lease property it should be your property within the rental or lease period and you should be able to use it as you wish. I own private property and I do not want people coming onto it with guns. I do get an occasional stray hunter and that's ok because I know what they're doing. Random people from the world, no stay away!

Another reason I'm glad I live in Tennessee. Coming back from the range yesterday, I stopped into Krogers before going home. I was open carrying a Tarus Judge (.45/.410) and no one even batted an eye.

TPTB don't want you to know about jury nullification. Jurors have the right to judge not only the facts of the case but the law itself and exercise their own conscience as to the rightness or wrongness of the law itself.

And there are still NRA Democrats and other democrats who
are not gung-ho on gun control. And there are states like
Massachusetts where Romney is coming from that have the
strictest gun control laws in the country. Last time I was
in that area it was not even legal to carry a hunting rifle
into Massachusetts without a special permit and it was
very difficult to get a permit to even own a handgun.

Remember they all said Obama was going to be a big threat
to gun owners and so far no gun legislation coming out of
congress; I believe the Democrats have learned that gun
control is not popular with a substantial majority of the
American public. Also remember that Obama signed into law
a bill that now allows possession of guns on Federal Land
{I believe it is in the National Parks}.

yes obama did sign the bill that allows carry in National parks where state law allows.

I suspect he did so for other reasons than being pro second amendment.

So we have a bill that would effectively ban having a gun in any way if you do not own the property without written permission and at the same time we have the department of housing and urban development getting in to the rental game. No way will the government give you permission that is for sure.

And yes the bill says you can have a gun with oral or written permission, but we all know oral will not cut it if you have to go to court, the landlord could flip flop on you and then you’re in serious trouble, so you NEED written permission to have a gun.


Then the one AC brings up a great point, do you or does the bank holding your note own your house,? Will you need permission from the bank if you have a house payment? No way a bank would say you can have a gun, puts them in a legal position, they will never do it for anyone.
