Arkansas GOP State Rep Thinks Slavery Was Blessing in Disguise for Blacks
Republican State Rep. Jon Hubbard of Jonesboro, Arkansas has some instructive things to say about black Americans in his book available on Amazon, “Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative.” For example, he believes that slavery was a blessing in disguise for black people, as pointed out earlier today by Talk Business.

I'm betting he'll include that they were taken from a Godless place and many following generations came to know Christ, or had the opportunity to. So, yes, it was a blessing ultimately.

If it were not so, the Blacks would have all moved back to Africa--if they needed help on plane tickets, I'm sure it would have been offered.
In his book, "Between Two Ages," Brzezinski wrote: "The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values."

make sure you compensate them for 300 yrs of free labor, interest included and of course a free plane ticket. How much do you think it would cost?

Hah! USA born in 1776, slaves (200,000) freed in 1864---88 years.
We would also need to subtract all welfare, EBT, medicaid, and other tax-provided benefits of the past 45 years to about 8 million folks.
I'm thinking they would owe reparations to white folk, not the other way around.

Probably not that much, if you deduct the cost of free housing and food. I mean, we used to give slaves lobsters! The economic output of the slaves was not that impressive, the South was essentially a 3rd World military and economy compared to the North in the Civil War. I can only assume its do the shiftless and lazy nature of the blacks.

Yes, I should have said about 8 million per year. 60% of US Black families are mainly dependent on forms of welfare.

In a way, he's quite correct.

What was the fate of African Slaves during the 16, 17, and early 1800's?

They were almost always taken as prizes in battle against other African tribes. Then, Arab traders bought them from the victorious tribes, and transported them to the coasts. Those that went to the Middle East or North Africa were Gelded (had their schlongs cut off) so they couldn't breed with Muslim women, while those that went to the Americas were not.

Those that weren't sold overseas were sold to Other African tribes, usually in West/Southwest Africa, where they were starved and worked to death.

Those the Arab Traders didn't buy were usually murdered on the spot, or killed in ritual sacrifices that would make the Mayans look tame.

So yes, in a way, the Africans that made it to America were, far, FAR better off, in a land that actually had laws about thier treatment.

PS- The first slaveowner in the British American Colonies WAS A BLACK MAN....

Don't believe it folks. That rep is one of the most admired, highly respected, intelligent members of our legislature. We feel that he represents his constituents very well, and mirrors most of the citizens ideas.

Repay who exactly? No victim of pre-civil war slavery is still alive. As for the so called decedents having a claim, it should be realized that no man on this planet has arrived independent of his history. Any plaintiff would not exist at all to complain if the unfolding of past events had differed, their parents would never have been or made acquaintance, their grandparents erased from history, their great grandparents and beyond having never been brought together by circumstance.

That makes no sense dumb ass.. No one's defining how any race should live, can't help what happened 200 years ago. It was a blessing to ones here today, any fool should know this,

My people didn't have a picnic either. my grandfather was a share cropper, the other one was also a share cropper until he saved enough money to buy a little dirt farm/with shack on it had no heat,no lights,no bathroom, no insulation, in the winter if it snowed, cracks so big n the walls, the snow would blow in.. But little by little he improved on it. He lived there until the day he died.
