Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1211208 Well... they could have chained a bunch of extension cords together and gotten a good 75' or so with with it/ ;-p I witnessed the 'first' and last flight of a homemade flying disc similar to the one pictures -- gasoline engine. Flight lasted about 1 minute. Operator never really gained control of the craft... except for the last 10 seconds or so. He then looked back to the crowd, as if to brag about stabilizing the saucer... that caused him to lose control and smack it into the ground. Fiberglass... busted it up really well and could have killed the guy. He was lucky to walk away. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

The National Archives has recently published never-before-seen schematics and details of a 1950s military venture, called Project 1794, which aimed to build a supersonic flying saucer. Real aliens must have laughed their asses off at this (assuming they can laugh and have asses). Unlike the Avro Arrow, the most state of the art fighter jet of it's day. |

This particular craft has been public knowledge for awhile. Even the History Channel had mentioned it briefly (with footage) in at least one of their documentaries. |
