My Brother-In-Law
First, I want to make clear that this man is in no way realted to me. He is my husband's sister's husband.

Let's just say my brother-in-law is not exactly the shining start of our family. When my husband's parents told them not to get married, he went behind their backs and eloped. He got kicked out of the military for defiance (It was so bad that a Sgt. signed a form stating he can NEVER re-enter ANY branch of the military), had domestic violence charge against him, and has a child that may or may not be his. That was just BEFORE he eloped with my husband's sister.

Since they got married, he has flunked out of college. This caused him to lose the grant money that the military was giving him for classes. This put him in a real bind, since he was using that to make his rent and pay other bills since he refuses to work. That brings us to our next subject.

When they got married, he refused to work. When she got pregnant, he made her work full-time, while he sat at home playing XBox.

Now that the baby's born, he continues to ride the roads with friends and play video games. Meanwhile, she works full-time. You would think HE would watch the baby while she worked right? Heck no!

He refuses to even watch the baby while she works. The baby is dropped off with her mother every day so that he can play XBox.

The few times her mother was busy and he had the baby, he called my sister-in-law at work to come get the baby because it was crying. Yes, you heard that right!

This idiot is a poor excuse for a human being. I'm sorry, but it's true. I could stomach all of this, but there's one thing I can't stand.

While we are all working, taking care of our children, and contributing to society, he is "preaching" on Facebook. He writes messages talking about "how people don't earn respect". He tries to "teach" us how to live. It makes me want to vomit! I just had to vent about this! I want to say something, but I can't!

The Military doesnt give you grant money for one. Even if they did, he wouldnt be get'n it after being kicked out of the military. What do you mean he "has" a kid that may or maynot be his?? living with him? which chick is this one with?

When he signed up for the military, he entered into some kind of program that said they would pay for your college. It may be a glitch in the system, or maybe not, but they are following through even though he was discharged. He's still getting the money through some loophole. I was wrong to call it grant money, but it's some kind of money. Don't ask me the details. All I know is he gets it.

Before he met my sister-in-law, he lived with a woman. She was pregnant when they broke up. She now says the child is his. I saw a picture, and the child is a spitting image of him. There's no doubt in my mind it's his.

She's 28, and I'm 26. She won't leave him because she's afraid of being alone. We have all tried to tell her that he's pulling her down, and she's better off without him. She won't listen.

She's one of those people that wants everybody to think everything's perfect. She paints a rosy picture by talking about how much she loves him. it's all a cover.

I agree about seeing a counselor. You would have to be crazy to put up with that. I know I wouldn't.

That woman had already fixed some domestic violence charges before he met my sister-in-law. Right after they got married, she called and told him she thought the child was his, and filed more domestic violence charges.

He says this woman is crazy. Although she sounds like it, she couldn't be half as crazy as he is.

You're right on the money. She's lonely ,and has very low self-esteem. She has a crude personality, and can be downright hateful. She's always bullied people to get her way.

She didn't have many friends, and tried to latch onto my husband when they were growing up. Once we got married, she needed someone else to latch onto. She married this loser after only knowing him for about 3 weeks.

Exactly she was sleeping around with a man who was in a defacto relationship with a woman pregnant to his child. Now to make it worse you use " may or may not be his " constantly - clearly what the " sister in law " carries on with - whilst knowing full well it is his ( as you state splitting image of him ).She was the one trying to sleep around and snag another womans man - I see no reason why you all need to try to belittle the lady further and his child.

Course he will never respect her - he knows the story, he is simply on his next use and no doubt will leave her and this child " who may or may not be his ".

Gees, seriously.

I understand. The point is not all the crap he pulls though. It's the fact that he "preaches" at everybody, and tells them to be a "good person like him", etc.

My husband got sick of reading these messages. The other day he put one about people with no direction being "lost". My husband wrote, "Oh, you need to borrow my GPS then don't ya?".

Damn right. I wouldnt put up with that garbage either. I know a chick that told me, that she wanted a man that wouldnt yell back at her when she put him down or yelled at him. I laughed my arse off and told her, then he would have as much of a self esteem problem as you do, she got really P****d off. I want a women, that knows how to be a lady.

What a scum bag. You and your family should probably do all you can to not let this guy watch the baby on his own. He obviously can't handle it, and your sister in law shouldn't risk it.

How sad. His priorities are just nonexisitant.
