Just moved from central Arkansas to West TN. The difference in economy was a bit shocking as we had been struggling majorly in AR. There has not been much of any job growth in Central AR for the last few years. It even took me a month to get a part-time summer job to pay for school books. A lot of businesses are closing and not much new growth. We got to TN and business is booming! People here are happy and there are places to work everywhere from manufacturing,farming,hospitals,tons of retail and restaurant and construction. It was a breath of fresh air! However, we have heard that this city is the bankruptcy capital for the U.S. So maybe the truth is people are so happy here because they are living unrealistically on credit.
