Always been poor always will be poor.. and as such we always get by, and this is the *cough* so called rich Southern part of England. LOL

And by that I mean, most of the home bakers around here have a go at starting their own bakery, most home cooks have a go at starting their own cafe ect, so while business do go bust frequently there is always some one willing to give it a go.

I guess it helps that we don't have any of the big named brand businesses to crowd everyone else out, and while we are poor it's nice not to live in one of those big business cloned towns where every thing looks, smells and feels the same *shudder*

We get almost no government funding down here, which is probably why so many people have a go at starting and running their own businesses, and to be honest I don't think that is a bad thing really.

So I honestly don't expect things to get worse, even in a crash, but then again I don't expect anything to get better either even in a speedy recovery.
