I keep wondering when they will clone a mammoth, because for sure the Russians have had enough DNA and the technology for several decades now, and furthermore I see no motive to keep it a secret if they did clone a mammoth, and I doubt that the mammoths would survive on their own well enough to pose any environmental threat.

Am I correct, or is there something I am not considering?
