Something strange happened at the house across the road from us this time last year. It was a public holiday and we were sitting in the office facing the road when a car pulls up across the road, then an ambulance, then a police car, then lots of other cars and people running into the house. The ambulance leaves and another police car arrives and an officer with a grey case goes in and comes out wearing rubber gloves, then someone comes out of the house and washes a bloody towel under the front tap. The police cars eventually leave and a black van arrives and two guys in black suits wheel in a trolley and come out with a body bag...
We were later told that the man who was in his 40's died of a heart attack.. now we have friends in the police force and this is not normal procedure for a death by natural causes. Most likely suicide or death by misadventure...

My next door neighbor was loading up a semi-truck during the middle of the night. Some strange dude has been coming and going of late, that I never even knew lived there. Haven't seen the mother for a couple of days...hope she's not in one of those crates.
