There was an excellent thread posted here at GLP about the BP oil spill. Sorry do not have it. Very in depth, very long. There was a link posted. Sorry did not keep it. It was a link to a government web site that showed the estimated amounts of gases and oil in the GOM. It estimated that there was 960 BILLION cubic feet of methane, more than 3-4 times the amount of oil where BP was drilling. Opinions from the thread were that there was more methane coming out of the well than oil.
