If you had been following any of the threads on this subject you would already have seen those links. YES. There is methane coming out of the ground at over 20 sites near the sinkhole. There are literally THOUSANDS of pages on this subject and I won't do your homework for you! The information is there. If you choose to ignore it, that's on you...just because YOU are a day late and a dollar short as far as the news goes on this subject does not mean that it isn't out there. But go ahead and keep your head up your ass! Ignorance is bliss!

I've done the research, I've followed and read the links provided and there is NOTHING showing that methane gas is coming out of the sinkholes. Sorry....and now for those that continue to suggest I don't know what I'm talking about or haven't read past posts, think again. I have, and that is exactly why I'm asking for proof. There is NONE! In addition I work for an environmental company involved with this project, and I can tell you that you are all wrong. So, those of you that think you know it all, like I said, either prove it, or move on. Stop posting the same old links that prove NOTHING!

A poster there said this in 2010: "A disastrous release of methane gas or an extensive seafloor collapse is not impossible but the possibility is remote.
