Wheres your link? BTW, Shaka was a Zulu chief, not the king of the African tribes in South Africa. Each tribe had and have their own chief and incidentally, also had the means to make fire predating colonisation.

I should know. My grandfather employed Zulu labourers on our Pietermaritzburg farm (in what was then Natal and is now Kwa-Zulu Natal), the labourers resided on our farm in African Kraals and as a child growing up in South Africa, I spoke the tribal language of Zulu with our labourers,and heard much about the great Shaka who devised the unique Zulu form of combat, saw images and photos (of drawings incidentally before someone gets their knickers in a twist) of this great man and he most certainly dd not look remotely like a Catholic fellow from Ireland.

Ah, but don't you see, the drawings were faked in order to make people think that Shaka was Black. You mention the Zulu combat techniques, these can be proven to have been copied from the Roman military manual Rei Militaris Instituta by Vegetius. This is especially evident in the use of the long shield with the Iklwa (assegai) being used in the same manner as the Gladius. Even the charging bull buffalo formation incorporates Roman tactics, which were derived from those used by Hannibal and the Carthaginian's. The connection comes from the fact that O'Feeny was a Roman Catholic, and obviously was given a Roman education.

Shaka was actually his nick-name, he was a red head and people would comment on his shock of red hair, this eventually became shaka red hair, Shaka.
