BREAKING: Iran Withdraws from Syria as Hyperinflation Takes Toll on Economy. Asks for Turkey's Help to Release Hostages
'The Sunday Times' reports Iran has withdrawn 275 members of elite brigade from Syria in face of domestic economic crisis and bitter criticism about the cost of Iranian support for Assad.

The members belong to a brigade known as Unit 400, which fought alongside Syrian President Bashar Assad against Sunni rebels, the report quoted a western intelligence officer as saying.

According to The Times, the unit flew out of Syria last week.

The report added that the information was confirmed by a relative of a Unit 400 officer.

The withdrawal of Iranian troops from Syria was seen by some as an indicator of waning confidence among Iran’s Shi’ite leaders in Assad’s ability to survive the uprising.

According to The Times, there have been loud complaints about an estimated $5 billion of Iranian money spent to prop up the Assad regime in Damascus.

Assad is fighting terrorist factions with unlimited cash and supplys. Again the Syrian people and the coptic christians will suffer and die when jihad billy and his gang of misfits take over. The United States has to stop feeding these terrorist with our money and resources that they will use against us in the future. Tehran's Grand Bazaar reopened on Saturday under close police supervision on Saturday, traders said, days after it was shut by clashes between riot police and protesters blaming the government for the collapse of the Iranian currency.

On Wednesday, riot police fired tear gas, fought demonstrators and arrested money changers in and around the bazaar. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blamed speculators for the rial's slide, which is eating into living standards and destroying jobs in the industrial sector.

On Sunday, the Times reported that, amid protests, Iran has withdrawn 275 members of Unit 400, part of the Revolutionary Guard's elite Quds Force, who had reportedly assisted Assad's troops in the fight against opposition forces.

This is a quote from Ayatollah Khomeni (Iran's current Ayatollah's predecessor) made in 1942. It shows the mindset and goals of the ruling clergy in Iran:

“Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled and incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world. But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world…. Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers] Islam says Kill them [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non-Muslims] overcome us Islam says Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Does this mean that we should surrender to the enemy Islam says Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Koranic] verses and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”

To go a little further with this.

Why is this going on and on and on?

I'll tell you.

I've examined a lot of photos and videos.

Contrary to popular GLP opinion there are a lot of Syrians in the FSA.

But...

it seems their standard warfare tactic is to get relatively close to the enemy and then pop out from the corner of a building and fire without aiming in the relative direction of the enemy.

Not really good tactics there.

So you have idiots fighting idiots...

this could take forever.

I think they also all go home at night.

Many regular Syrian troops seem to be wearing tennis shoes.

Iran Withdraws Troops from Syria
Iran has withdrawn 275 of its elite Revolutionary Guard forces from Syria due to an economic crisis at home, reports The Sunday Times.

Hundreds of Iranian soldiers from the elite “Unit 400” brigade have been fighting alongside Syrian government troops in the civil war against opposition forces hoping to topple President Bashar al-Assad.

According to the report, published by the UK-based newspaper on Sunday, the information was confirmed by a relative of one of the Iranian officers in Syria.

Increasingly severe international sanctions have been eating away at the Iranian economy for months in the hope that at some point, the Islamic Republic will be persuaded to halt its nuclear development activities.

And Iran had been opposite the ıslam and Ottoman empire always in history.

Ottoman empire had dominated with tolerance own lands for 600 years. And, people who have diffirent race and reliegon, had lived in same lands.
