... less than 2,000 year ago... most reckon Jesus beginning his ministry sometime around 27 A.D. to 30 A.D. by that merit, his ministry started only 1,985 or 1,982 (respectively) years ago.

From the death and resurrection of Jesus, figuring in 33 A.D., the Nicence Councils 325 A.D. was some 292 years later.

From 70 A.D. until 137 A.D. or there abouts, the Jews were not even allowed in Jerusalem nor in Judeah. Even the Jewish council of Jamnia on 137 A.D. was still more than 106 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ.

Mis-interpretation, and even mis-translation, is most definitely seen in all the Jewish religious texts as we now have them available to us. The closest we can get to them are in fact the very fragmented (though a few complete) Dead Sea Scrolls of the late date of at early as 200 B.C.

The Nicene Council decisions of 325 A.D. were in fact the workings of those men who were of the spirit of an anti-christ. Their formation of the Trinity formula of a One in Three or a Three in One Almighty God, was the distortion and deception. There is only One Almight God, not three. Jesus the Christ did come in the flesh, part of that which conceived Jesus from one of Mary's eggs was a new act of creation by the Almighty God. Not understanding this, the Nicence council error. The proof of that is to be found in the fruits of the Nicene Counci and the Roman Emperor (aka the God of the Romans) slaughtered all those that did not adbid by the decision and interpretation of the Scriptures in their Nicene Council's formation of the Incarnation of Jesus the Christ. They murdered hundreds of thousand perhaps even millions, they killed, raped, and plundered those who did not agree to their faulty doctrine and spoke against that faulty doctrine.

And then that Nicene Council had the audacity to pronounce that they were the only True and Universal Church of Christ. And dared to call themselves "Christians".
