An autistic girl is both autistic and a girl, and both of those are deemed undesirable. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23597994 There's a thought that there are too many people already. It's true after all, the place is overcrowded. We who live in a much more spacious place should be aware of the difference. Still, I think this would happen much more because of the coldness of Chinese. Not hatred, just treating others as objects, much less empathy. Maybe. Even though I love Chinese culture, I've known some Chinese people and sure, they are usually cold and... weird, FROM OUR point of view. But they can also be caring and their culture teaches lots of great, positive values so, why this? And that's when government comes into the picture, because even a good society with a healthy culture can be turned into soulless drones by a governmental system which aims to do that, such as communism and any other big government system does. Should I read "badly implemented communism" instead? I don't think the problem is the economic model of a country, but the social aspects that come with it because we people make it that way. Ideally, communism could be good, but people are not perfect, so we ruin everything. Capitalists societies also have evil people and cruel things happen all the time. People are people (that is, our nature has good and bad things), beyond the sociological context. Thanks for your comment. The problem is the government forcing policies onto people, there are good principles in capitalism and in communism (although very few of them in communism as it intends to create a bee hive colony type society made up of drones without individuality). We need less government and more liberty, it won't be perfect but the problems we will face and the ways we will have to deal with them will create a better society than big government forcing people to do what their determinate ideology thinks it's right and getting it all wrong in the way. "Your gates will be open continually; They will not be closed day or night, So that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, With their kings led in procession. For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish, And the nations will be utterly ruined." |

I agree with your point to some extent, but I still think that no matter what the government tells you, if you're a bitch you'll be a bitch, and if you're a nice person with a heart, you won't do this. Weirdness isn't weird, here. So... no need to go "O_o"... but I can't help going O_o the most of the time! To O_o or not to O_o? |
