One word...unenforceable!
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24917207 this law will never pass, not because they care about your rights, but because it will open up huge blackmarket buying and selling and government will miss out on sales taxes how do you tax a barter system?- and what would be the loop holes? This is actually aimed straight at barter systems. You don't even tax them, you make it impossible for them to exist by preventing barterers with matching trading desires from finding each other, by outlawing their internet ads. how can they enforce any constraints on a barter system? think about it...2 people make a trade of goods or services; how is any official going to know about the trade? they won't....this is simply a stupid piece of legislation..it's UNENFORCEABLE. people will barter no matter what the court says....nobody can stop them.
