Did you get your flu shot yet?

and i thought brief was the dumbest person on this forum....

I cut myself pretty deeply last week with a second hand hunting knife. I had not had a tetanus shot in 15 years so I called the doctor and they said to come in and get one.

I get in there and find I can't just get a tetanus shot. I have to get the shot with Tetanus, Diptheria and Whooping cough. Now I have no problem with the first two, I've had them before of course. But Whooping Cough? Crap. I've never taken a flu shot and don't want to take anything more than I have to. I took the damned thing anyway. A part of my arm is still swollen and sore. Then I read all this warning info on seizures etc. Anybody else had this shot?

You should educate yourself about nutrition.

I had the flu shot once in my life and became very sick. I decided to educate myself and will never, ever get one again. Honestly I try to avoid any type of medicine and thank God, I have been relatively healthy my whole life.

It is a point of contention between myself and my family as they are always the first every season to get it. They tried taking my girls one time when I was working to get it and it caused a very bad family feud.

It upsets me cause I love my parents dearly but they just won't listen to facts, figures or reason.

a hunting knife? ouch, but you could have just had them clean you up the best they can, sew you up and even take some herbal for the pain. I wouldn't take their pain killers... and certainly won't ever take their vaccines.

Haven't had a single cold, flu or any major disease symptoms since I started taking at least 1000 IU of vitamin D3 every day.

Went to his doc, given antibiotics (5 days), and was still sick. Back to doc, given another prescription for 7 days supply of antibiotics, still sick and getting worse, and btw she wanted to give him a flu shot while he was sick, or course, he heeded to my warning and declined. Out of desperation thinking he might die, I researched for days. Found this story about a New Zealand farmer that contracted H1N1 or pnuemonia, docs didn't know which, or maybe had both? Had him on life support. Family insisted he be given vitamin C intervenously, they even had to hire a lawyer for the hospital to comply with their wishes. He fully recovered. Found youtube how to make this vit. C equivalent to intervenous. It is called homemade lipsomal vitamin C. I also discovered the health benefits of virgin coconut oil. Bought the oil and vit. C ingredients (need an ultra sonic cleaner to mix the C solution). Gave to husband around 7 pm, both the vit. C and oil. Mind you, he was looking like he was on death doorstep. About 5 in the morning he woke me to say that he could now breath and felt is illness took a turn for the better. We are now on day 3. My husband is back to his vibrant handsome self with increasing energy. We will continue the C until fully recovered and the oil will be a daily ritual from now on.

A no more preposterous idea than yours, that there's something in the flu vaccine that makes you "addicted" to them so that if you don't get one you will get sick, is the idea that maybe the introduction of live pathogens, for me, has had the effect of kicking my immune system into high gear, and stimulating antibody production to protect against even a simple cold.

Yeah, I think I'll follow the advice of a bunch of people I don't know on a conspiracy site where not one iota of evidence has been presented, and STOP doing what has worked for me, just because you say so.

Yes! It's difficult to find the right doc, but well worth the effort. Try asking at your health food store. There are always pockets of people with all the local info you need.

I have read several studies that show vaccines double the chance of getting what you are vacinated against. Plus mercury and aluminum, no thanks.

In what part of my post did I say anything about addicting, I was curious if it changes the way the immune systems acts, it gets use to it so to say and with out it causes all types of crap to happen...now I am beginning to wonder if the flu shots come with a crazy drug since your showing yours.

They sell them in so many places here I think you can even get your flu shot at the hardware store.

I ask everyone who's gotten their shots if they were asked if they were allergic to egg whites. Not one person has said that the subject came up before they got the shot. But they DO have to sign papers releasing the store or clinic from any liability in case something goes wrong.

For the 2009 Flu Vaccine.......the Fully Live H5 virus that was added......was certainly not included on the ingredient list.


Fortunately......the problem was discovered in the Czech Republic......and the 72 kilos were not distributed.

Yeah, well I needed a tetnus shot because I got scratched on a nail that was a little rustly and I was a little past due. I seriously figured I'm only going to get it if I need to. Well low in behold I needed to so went to the dr, nurse gave me the shot, THEN told me the whooping cough vaccine was in it as well. I flipped shit! I was beyond livid with that witch

Don't know anyone who does get the flu shot, have seen it advertised in the GPs surgery so some people must, although reading the recent report on the *cough* recent *achoo* pandemic *sniffle* it seems those here in the UK don't really give 2 eff's about such things, nor if following *cough* government protocol *achoo* on how we should interact with each other during a pandemicy thingy.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Public Health Information Coalition funded some international research into peoples behavior during the flu pandemic, and we Brits finished bottom of the list..
