I have a solution that should satisfy everyone:
Let's tax people at the same rate they want to tax other people.
Libertarians will pay only enough sales tax to fund a defensive military.
Democrats will be taxed at 100%-200% of income in addition to sales, property, inheritance, and special additional taxes as they deem good For The Children(tm).
Republicans will pay enough sales tax to fund the portion of the prison system that houses non-violent drug offenders in addition to all the Libertarian requirements.
Independents aren't smart enough to figure out who to vote for, so they will be special slaves to Republicans who will be in charge of culling the Democrats from time to time.
How about we fund Big Bird and you can fund the bloated military you love so much?
The Governor is saying that if that is your wish, so be it.
are you also going to fund
30,000 drones flying over the united states?
Are you going to fund all the ammunition they've been buying?
are you going to fund the too big to fail banks?
are you going to fund operation gun runner?
Do you like funding the department of transportation?
Do you like funding foreign governments?
It seems the only thing lefties can figure out they don't want to pay for is military spending, but don't mind turning our own country into a gunless police state.
Treason use to mean giving money and aid to our enemies, now the government steals the money by force gives it to our enemies and calls it foreign aid.
