UK – Imam Mohamed Kassamali documented on film by an undercover reporter a Sunday Times journalist, holding a wedding of a 12 year old girl to a 20 year old man. The case is under investigation.

He told the reporter “If it was not possible, I would have told you straight away… I would love the girl to go to her husband’s houses as soon as possible, the younger the better.”


Retired Imam Abdul Haque added “The Prophet Muhammad had married a seven-year-old girl, We are his followers, and that is what you have to explain.”
