[ link to www.tpuc.org] They when issuing a ticket need your name SHUT UP! don't argue with them as it is adversarial just SHUT UP! they need your name and date of birth to confirm which corporation they are going to give the bill of exchange to (bills of exchange defences are simple) but were not doing those right now... so no name, no d.o.b no address, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL This would go over well. Refuse ID? Then I will ask you to step out of the car. Refuse to do that? I will tell you to get out of the car. Refuse to do that? I will make you get out of the car. Then I will arrest you for obstruction by failure to show ID Then, you will be held at the station until we can identify you. Best of luck. This is our Achilles Heel, total non-compliance. Just complete silence. I'm also in the "legal" business. When we go out, we're also dependant on voluntary compliance. Once we have it... well..... I won't show as much hubris as the cop AC above. Now, let's say the officer's scenario above were to be applied 100% of the time and 100% of the time, the officer and department is sued. Likewise, my profession. The costs of doing business would become so phenomally high, that all law enforcement would collapse. And my industry as well. Passive resistance. Better than violent resistance. To the cop above, I've been one of you guys. I've also been a CO. You speak like you're doing a cell extraction. Difference is, the people you're speaking about are sovereign citizens who simply refuse to comply. I see the difference. That's why I gave it up and switched to firefighting. Too many constitutional issues and conflicts for me.
