So I've heard of this guy- he's running for President? I read an interview with him somewhere and he sounds so bright and refreshing and he's pretty funny too...any chance this guy could be Pres someday??

SB: Smaller calibers would certainly be allowed, for at least these and probably other good reasons:
o Girls get to shoot too!
o Generally speaking, the .22 has more stopping power than the .38 or larger caliber. Yeah, I know that sounds wrong, or backwards, and it surprised me also, but the findings make sense. You can't stop what you can't hit, and in a crisis or a shootout almost everyone is far more accurate with a no-kick .22 than with a hoss gun.
Also, I will NOT mandate that all Americans get conceal-carry licenses, as that would be a violation of Federalism. What I can probably put into place, however, and something I'd really like to do, is to grant significantly meaty tax breaks to those who do, and I can justify this as a reward for voluntarily assuming part of the burden of civic peace-keeping.

Regarding Blackmane running for president again - I have no idea.

I'm gonna follow the threads, and let's see if he's (re-)draftable in a couple of years. I got the feeling from an earlier post that they got a very late start this campaign season.

Lol I hate evil clowns too! Really all clowns, if I'm being honest. They're all hiding something. Especially the government clowns, lol. I like this Blackmane guy- I hope he sticks around for the next election

My understanding - and take this with a grain of salt because I'm not sure how accurate this is, but it is all I've got to go on - is that Blackmane was a late-comer because he was pressured into "running" by a bunch of his friends (and here's what I'm really not certain about), which he was resisting until some bloggers got wind of his views and ratcheted up the pressure.

That's 2nd-hand info plus some guesswork, so don't take my word for it as gospel, it's just what I understand to date.

Any developments post-election?

Fairly dated since these were from before the election, but I enjoyed the reads.

Obama is going to be replaced by someone else. Maybe this is the guy?
