sounds to me like noise from a nearby (5-10mile) highway/freeway. Nothing special.

Be safe my friend, watch the situation in Assumption closely, There is a chance that if and when shtf there it will affect your area. It's no secret that all the fault systems are connected, if what I'm saying is true and you're hearing the sounds there as well, you are not out of the danger zone. If the gas is ignited there's no telling what and whom is going sky high. Don't mean to be a fear-monger but I'm done sugar-coating this situation, ppl need to start taking what is happening in the GOM very seriously.

Magnetic inmpulses? Sounds like static electrcity. geomagnetics? Maybe pushing the air and making sound.
Maybe from Solar flares? Radiation and magnetic energies entering the atmosphere. Could also be energies from earth movement.

Sounds just like what I heard when a construction company hit a main natural gas line near my house.

I live in NW LA and if this was shot in the last week it was not wind.. I never heard this though but Sunday morning about 2:00 am my dog went ape shit barking for no reason but i didnt hear anything

Also unless you live within say 5 miles from Barksdale you dont hear the B52's. Ive heard the B52 jets being tested and to be honest its alot louder than that but I live really close

That is freaky how the noise here just abrubtly 'stops', telling me it is not an airplane...
