Gassed Louisiana sinkhole family human rights plea EXPOSES COVERUP
I have no idea which sinkhole thread to post this to - so here.

Today, near the latest Bayou Corne sinkhole area bubbling site, resides Alicia Heilig, her two children and mother, suffering burning eyes, nausea, constant dull headaches and other signs of being poisoned, with no emergency aid, cannot evacuate from the life-threatening area, they have told human rights reporter Deborah Dupré.

The Heilig’s house is one of hundreds in Bayou Corne, Grand Bayou and Pierre Part above the sinking 1-mile by 3-mile Napoleonville Salt Dome where a giant sinkhole, parish bayous and water wells are releasing life threatening, explosive volatile hydrocarbons.

“At least every other day, there’s a chemical smell in the air, and if I sit on my porch at night, I can hear banging noises coming from behind my home towards the sinkhole,” Alicia Heilig, 27, told Dupré this week.

You know (as it would relate to me), if that was me I would not be saying I couldn't evacuate.

If this family has half a working brain....it should be telling them to either leave or they just might die there in place.

Seems like a no brainer dicision to me.

I would rather go stay in a homeless shelter or sleep somewhere in my car than stay there and be poisoned.

Course I was born a survivor. Some people just aren't.

Yes it is sad and tragic and my deepest sympathies but to
stay there and submit my children to poison...

NEVER!

I tend to agree. I have to assume she simply can't. No money, no vehicle and no place to go? For me with no children, I would be getting out one way or another. Throw a couple of children in tow and the entire situation changes. By our standards she would be better off taking the kids and running off into the woods or something rather than staying there. The Child Protective Services (or your countrie's equivalent) would probably label her a whack job, hunt her down and take her kids. Bet we'd see that story on MSM.

I feel bad for these people that can't just evacuate.
