Since you're an expert on the economy and wages you certainly know that high unemployment lets corporations get by with shite like this. Get the unemployment down to 5% and this stuff disappears and wages go UP!

Jobs were a dime a dozen. People jumped from position to position for the increased bennies....an extra week of vacation! Putting the reason for quitting your last job as "more money" was entirely acceptable. Very true, in Dallas in the mid 90s company vehicles actually drove around with job ads for the companies Now days as I walk into businesses I notice signs out front with "WE are Not hiring on them"
