And there it is.... Didn't take to long for the discussion to become the school ground name calling and shit slinging.
We look at our world leaders and ask why they can't find ways to work things out without going to war, yet we can't have a discussion without it becoming personal and calling each other this and that. The world is a messed up place and it is up to US ( that is you and me - not the USA ) to make it happen yet we can't even be grown ups and talk together.
And yes I know that what I just wrote will now draw people to have a go at me now.

Also, even if the "stupid threads" (like this one) are gotten rid of, there are still "stupid individual posts". You cant get rid of those as well...

and there is seriously way TMI in some of these threads. the crass shit people discuss here is amazing. the endless revolting detail, the dreary problems, the non-problems

eventually you can figure out whats really worth clicking, even though some of them are quite artfully disguised in the title - but its a shame at least some of them cant be blown to bits and swept up by the mods, especially the pinned shit

getting pinned often means nothing - if you have enough karma or whatever from your glp buddies, you can pin whatever shit you like, and it DOES overshadow far more worthy topics

although some of the thread titles are pure, off the wall comedy gold


i personally dont have a lot of time so it would be nice to have truly worthy topics are the top of the forum. i just dont have the time to sift through all the shit - unlike the chief culprits who create and participate in the pointless and irritating threads, who appear to have all bloody day
