To the poster above who wondered what conservatives put their money on the line just to create jobs to keep people off of unemployment, I'd like to say...

A whole fucking lot of us. As a small business owner (30 employees) we operate on very tight margins but pay our staff well. The only jobs we've eliminated have been through attrition. Every week when I do payroll I love it because we contribute (and in some cases compose the entirety of) our employees personal economies. My assistant has a severely handicapped kid and she's a single mother. She needs us and we need her. I love writing paychecks. I wish I could write more of them. I hate this economy and the government's handcuffs on businesses. You take off the handcuffs and watch us go. WATCH. US. GO.

Yes.

Watch us go. Let loose the bullshit handcuffs of 1100.00 permit for a 900.00 roof overhang to keep the vehicle dry for an elderly person and cut the EPA bullshit of environmental impact studies that will deny you until a year later appeal.....

FUCK DEQ, FUCK EPA,.......... We have foreign companies coming in and doing the same jobs that we bid on and getting tax credit without permits for the same jobs that I can't do due to restrictions based on the age of a home. Pre-1978 is a lead warning fiasco designed to make the homeowner pay out the ass for a job due to the age of the home not the job in general.

We are being fucked over, permits and penalties that only the small guy trying to get ahead has to jump through. Corporate bullshit has trickled down to affect the homeowner who is tired of living in an old house and wants to upscale.

Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhh.

They are killing startups, they are killing the guys who have 30 years of experience who know the trade. They are killing growth.
