God uses women when men are not available or willing.

He used Margaret Thatcher in England.

Now when it comes to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ He sets the order, however not everybody are willing to follow His order and take upon themselves to do things in the flesh against Gods order and word. Women fill many positions in Church but not all churches are the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many have left Him out.

The early church had women and men separated in church, men on one side and women on the other. Just like the Mennonites still do today. Hence for a woman to speak in church or ask her husband something would be "noisy and unruly". So they are told to ask their husband at home.

Women was still allowed to be a vessel for God when the Holy Spirit moved upon them to utter His words. But women was told not to teach or have authority over men.

1 Timothy 2:8-15:

(8)I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing. (9)I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, (10)but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. (11)A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. (12)I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. (13)For Adam was formed first, then Eve. (14)And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. (15)But women will be kept safe through childbirth, if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.

Of course it is hard for a woman to accept this. Remember in the O.T. they were under the Levitical system, however at Pentecost the Church started and Jesus Christ taught Paul how His Church should be ordered. Men and women fulfill different purposes and roles, one not more important than the other, each member on His body contribute. Don't strive to take upon yourself another's role, you end up soulish and in the flesh, not operating in the Holy Spirit. Outside the church women can minister to other women all they want. Let the Holy Spirit be the guide, not your wantonness to step into areas God has not established. Hard to submit is it not? Oh, that inward struggle. Flesh and Spirit always at strife.

This was already discussed and settled...keep reading. And yet, the vast majority of these assemblies are dead of spirit, whether they allow women to speak or not. No one cares about the spiritually dead, those that fancy themselves alive by man-made works. Jesus had some fierce words about this mentality in Matthew 23.
