Absolutely!

I haven't read the whole thread yet, but this is the crux of the issue. Jesus did not come to install Judaism 2.0 or continue the priestly line of Aaron/Levi, or perpetuate the laws of Moses. He said "Where two or three gather, there I am" and "The time has come to worship God neither here nor in Jerusalem, but in spirit and truth".

Most importantly, Jesus said, "NOT SO AMONG YOU!" Yet today the disciples are still fighting over who gets first in line, and on such a ridiculous basis as reproductive organs! Yet even in the OT God said to Samuel as he went to choose the 2nd king of Israel, "I do not look on the flesh but on the heart". Even James in the NT said "God does not show favoritism".

There is much scripture against what you are speaking of OP, I believe you have a calling - yet, it may just be a different calling than you believe. I don't agree 100% with the whole women being silent thing, as I seek counsel in my Wife quite often. However, that is different than her being a Preacher or Minister or Priest...

God Bless You, and good luck on your endeavors.

I'm afraid that's not so.

So do you just ignore all the scripture from Paul? There is lots but you rebels just twist the word of God to suit your wicked agendas. The word rebuke you!

That is an interesting response for sure. It tells me a lot.

However, if you could manage some civility, I would like to have a conversation with you about that. If not, then have a nice day.

What does it tell you exactly? Does the truth hurt? Please show what I said that is not true? You are all twisters of the word of God and rebels to the will of God and your guilt be on your own heads.

No, they are not to preach. You can't find a woman preacher or priest anywhere in the bible. Show me a bible verse of one and I'll agree with you.

Woman can do a lot like prophesy, gifts of the Holy Spirit, be called disciples, be helpers of the church, but nowhere is there ever one preacher in the New Testament to the church, SORRY!

see my post above, 12 women DID and that was LEFT OUT OF YOUR BIBLE

THATS A LIE RIGHT OUT OF SATANS MOUTH
1 But these took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt,
42 That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land.
43 And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow places of the river.
44 For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over.
45 For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth.
46 Then dwelt they there until the latter time; and now when they shall begin to come,

fyi, Adam was the one to drop the ball... not Eve.
 Quoting: Salt

"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."

"For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."

But there are a lot of light workers that like to pick and chooses what they believe.

Eve transgressed the law by being deceived, but Adam sinned willfully, thus death entered the world. If one is not purified by the Holy Spirit, then what good are any man's words?

Why the rebellious heart sister?

You want the verses? Ok.

"Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; 3 but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’” 4 The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! 5 “For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings. 8 They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, “ Where are you?” 10 He said, “ I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.” 11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” 12 The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate,” (Gen. 3:1-13).

Here we see Satan speaking to the Woman referring to what God said to them. So you are also wrong about only one law being given to Adam.

And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said
, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; 3 but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’”

13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”

The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
“Cursed are you above all livestock
and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring[a] and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.”
16 To the woman he said,

“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”

Yep. BTW, have you ever read this book? [link to books.fether.net] (this is my comments on it, but links are there to buy it)

Church history is not what people have been led to believe. And the "wolves" the apostles warned would arise from among us turned the truth into a lie that has been perpetuated ever since. The "churchianity" paradigm is so ingrained, so pervasive, that when we try to tell people about it they look at us like we just grew tentacles.

And because of this faulty foundation, no discussion resting upon it will ever be solved. Since, as you and I believe, there is no hierarchy in the Body of Christ (as if the eye can give orders to the hand), then who wields authority becomes a moot point, since there is no authority to wield.

So I have learned to focus on the foundation in these debates. I try to first establish that the detailed will never contradict the general, and that the general allows no hierarchy, such that any verse alleged to overturn "not so among you" must be misinterpreted. Only when that is established can there be any fruitful discussion of what the detailed passages can possibly mean.
Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? (Gal. 4:16)

Example number 1.

"He was talking about women in the Corinth assembly being disruptive within the directions of how THEIR GATHERING should be run. We are not under the Law, but the Will Of God written in our hearts. Read the whole thing and quit taking it out of context!"

That is just your false interpretation. You saying he was only speaking to the Women of Corinth is a lie because he says similar things in his other books regarding women ministering. Secondly, "We are not under the Law."

Another wretched lie and anyone who says otherwise is an anti-Christ!

Matthew 5:17-19

King James Version (KJV)

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Re: Are women allowed to preach and teach in the church? Or are we to be silent?
There is no contradiction; God used women at times when needed, however, never are women to lead a church/house or family. You wont find it cover to cover.

Priesthood? You are playing the hypocrite, criticizing those who make the transition between the Old (physical) and New (spiritual) Testament because you refuse to see past your brainwashing to understand truth. We are ALL priests (servants to the Lord for and in His Temple made without human hands, the Body of Yeshua in spirit. The old physical priesthood was done away with.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race who serve as Priests for The Kingdom, a holy people, a redeemed assembly; you should proclaim the praises of him who called you from darkness into his excellent light.

Revelation 1:6 And he has made us The Priestly Kingdom to God and his Father; to him be glory and Empire to the eternity of eternities. Amen.

Total rubbish! The priesthood was given to the Sons of Aaron alone for a perpetual covenant!!!

And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons. Exodus 29:9

Only those from the tribe of Levi can be priests and have to be male. No Women are to be ministers of the Lord!!! It is a PERPETUAL COVENANT!!!

Fulfillment of the Law means the Law (which is God's will) is written in our hearts at our spiritual transformation (born of spirit as stated in John 3). The Law of Moses was a PHYSICAL thing; the will of God directing our every move is a SPIRITUAL one. The Lord Creator has complete control over those who sacrifice self daily. I am sorry you do not understand this, but you need to seek Him on this.

I never said women could be over congregations, so what is your point?

Re: Are women allowed to preach and teach in the church? Or are we to be silent?
Example number 3.

Your knowledge of Scripture is very poor, which means you are not being fed the Bread of Life, His WORD in SPIRIT and in truth. You are missing it: what was PHYSICAL in the OT is now SPIRITUAL under the New Covenant. No more institution of priesthood and it is not in the NT at all! Most of these institution are not teaching this properly. The "continual sacrifice" is OURSELVES DAILY as He commanded:

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Romans 12:1 I beg you therefore, my brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God by a logical service. 2And do not imitate this world, but be transformed by the renovation of your minds, and you shall distinguish what is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 6:13 Neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Hebrews 13:15 And through him let us offer sacrifices of praise always to God, which is the fruit of the lips giving thanks to his name.

Face the fact: you do not know God, Jesus or the Connection to the Father (the Holy Spirit, who is alive and ACTIVE in my life). All you know is your institution and your emotional and mental state controlled by it. You choose to know nothing; I pity you.

You claim to know God and like to tell others that we do not know him but the word of God rebuke you!!!! Again, you go contrary to Yeshua and all the Prophets before him teaching the usual anti-Christ Pauline lawless apostasy with all the rubbish you spoke in this post.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:4

So if you throw out all of Paul's writings (erroneously in my opinion), what else of the New Testament do you also throw out?

Re: Are women allowed to preach and teach in the church? Or are we to be silent?
No, they are not to preach. You can't find a woman preacher or priest anywhere in the bible. Show me a bible verse of one and I'll agree with you.

Woman can do a lot like prophesy, gifts of the Holy Spirit, be called disciples, be helpers of the church, but nowhere is there ever one preacher in the New Testament to the church, SORRY!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20586262

There is not one Scripture in the Bible that forbids women from preaching, but on the contrary, there are many verses that encourage both men and women to preach the Gospel.
 Quoting: Salt

Give me just one bible verse that mentions a name of a woman apostle, bishop, or deacon to the church. That's all I ask for! You can't because there isn't one. Were there any priests that were women? NO. Jesus carried this into the New Testament and it was understood by all in the first church so there was no need to put a verse forbidding it. All apostles Jesus chose were men, Jesus didn't even pick His own mother who bore Him. That should tell you something right there! It does forbid a woman to teach a man. So how can a woman preach, that would be teaching men!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20586262

Give me one verse in the Bible that mentions the use of computers in churches? That should tell you something right there. Since there is no mention of computers, we must understand this to mean that they are forbidden.

See how this line of spurious reasoning works?

No, you are wrong again. Yeshua fulfilled the Law by annulling the Judgements(Stonings etc) and tweaking some of the Commandments and adding some more. You are ignorant to what that phrase means. There is only one Law and that is the Law of Moses and that is the Law that God was referring to that he would write in our hearts. And you may not have said women could be over congregations but you have been abdicating that the priesthood of the OT is over and we are all priests now which is an outright lie.
