Gassed Louisiana sinkhole family human rights plea exposes coverup

What's happening in Louisiana sucks, but hey, she's not the only single mother doing it tough. Not like she can't pack some bags and head to a different state. There are ways and means we find to keep our children safe, anyone in a country like the USA or Australia is choosing to make themselves and their kids sick if they don't take advantage of what freedoms we do still have. Sure it might be hard to support yourself, but it's far better to have less-nice things and be alive than to live it up in the family home and die from the poison.

Oh no, don't you know, according to some, it's not the mother's responsibility at all, but instead other people should step up and make sure she gets her sick children to safety.

In this particular woman's case, she's spending her time sending a petition and running a FFB page . . . when she should be getting those children to a better place - as ALL parents in that area should - and then they can try and fight for compensation later.


America is so frigging screwed up with corruption, greed, lack of conscience on the part of corporations . . . and a sense of entitlement, handouts, and "it takes a village" mentality on the part of some people.

Maybe if Americans all along had taken a more responsible stance and actually gave a damn and demanded higher standards of life in America, these unconscionable corporations wouldn't be running roughshod and people would have to be more responsible in the way they live their lives and raise their children.

Here is what I think about this today, 200 homes were evacuated and more will be evacuated. I think it is a bullshit post. I'd be keeping the kids indoors and using air purifiers at least. If it is this bad and people are living in it it I guess oh well how is it different than flaming/ruined water at fracking sights? Due to budget cuts the services that might have helped are probably non existant. Everybody is getting fired from the safety net jobs.
