Re: Anyone know mental health here? I am really scared.
Wow.

After reading some of the responses here, I'm laughing.

You people know nothing of mental illness. None of you are doctors.

One of you assholes said that because she feels a certain flinching when she tries to sleep, that it's schizophrenic.

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you know how many times I've experienced exactly what she's describing? Do you know how weird it was when my body was thrown into an anxiety-episode? It happens.

I've even had the scalp tingling in the back of the head. It's simple constriction of blood-flow, muscles, etc.

She's stressed out. Our bodies can increase the amount of stress-hormones we produce. Especially when we're *stressed out*.

Last thing OP needs is to be scared by some poor forum users who don't know what they are talking about.

Bi-polar -- give me a break.

Please, OP, ignore all this shit. You ARE fine. You need to reverse this little problem, change your thinking and get your body on track.

You are in possession of yourself. Surround yourself with positive people, give yourself re-assurance and definitely don't visit some stupid forum where jobless adults who spend their time web-browsing conspiracies have nothing better to do but try to re-distribute their bullshit experiences and problems onto others -- it makes them feel better and less guilty for not taking responsibility in their lives.

You're fine and you're going to be fine, just take the steps to make you feel better -- whether that's watching your favorite tv show, listening to positive music, being with friends or eating ice cream (and healthy things too).

And smile :)

allow me to clarify:

there are things that are good for you but not fun like: monotonous work

then

there are things that are fun but not good for you like drugs and alcohol

and

then there are things that are both good for you and fun like
learning new skills, socialising in a church, creating art, sports, travel..

hope it helps.

Re: Anyone know mental health here? I am really scared.
Don't listen to most of the people here who say you are going through something dire and that you need to see an expert, though they themselves aren't experts...

I'm not sure what you are experiencing or what you may have gone through to create these feelings and concerns.

But don't worry.

I went through something similar last summer. It started with a panic attack. Did you have one recently? Is there something on your mind you have been tucking down worrying about?

Our nervous systems respond to our worries in odd ways; sometimes, our muscles, muscle tissues and other layers of our body start to tense with odd sensations of nervousness, worries and other feelings we term as 'anxiety'.

I can tell you from having gone through a horrible episode of this myself last year, that if you are going through something similar -- which, from what you say -- sounds like it, then you can re-assure your body and mind that you will be ok.

You should see a doctor to make sure you're not having a serious medical problem.

However, if this feels like general anxiety and anxiety-sensations -- calm yourself, repeat re-assuring statements to yourself. One of the best things you can do is lift weights, which will immediately dissipate the contrary sensations you are feeling; weakness, fear, trepidation, etc.

Careful what advice people give you. A doctor tried telling me I had an anxiety disorder and wanted to put me on anti-depressants.

Sometimes everyone goes through something, and you are at a pivotal age. Too much stress can accumulate, but it's all how you choose to separate yourself from the stress.

Don't be terrified. You could feel better as unexpectedly as you started feeling bad.

Positive things. Outdoors. Friends. Tv. Movies. Food. Start a POSITIVE SELF REINFORCEMENT process. Now. Reverse your thinking. Change the current from negative to positive.

You got knocked off balance a little bit, do what YOUR BODY is telling you to do.

Is it telling you to go run? Would you feel better lifting weights (seriously, just once -- and tell me how better you feel)?

Our bodies are smart. Relax, take a breath - everything will be fine.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25221088

This.
Thank you for not flicking out and finding wise words.

I also experienced similar states of mind / consciousness. I even felt my body was distorted like it was under the effect of a black hole.

All of this is perfectly normal and natural, since our bodies (physicial, etherical, causal and mental) are transforming in order to shift to the other dimension we're getting in. The huge and unusual cosmic rays the earth is receiving follow this purpose.

Just be calm, and welcome all those phenomenon with love and great acceptance. You'll be just fine.

Talk to your parents and tell them that you've been having trouble sleeping and aren't feeling okay. Get checked out by an actual doctor to rule out physiological explanation. This is the last place you should be going for medical and mental health advice.

Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

This is just my advice.

You need to bind this up in the name of Jesus Christ. And tell it to go away.

Sounds like a demonic attack to me.

You said you were spiritual. I don't know if you mean spiritual like with Jesus Christ or not. If you don't know Jesus, do some research about it.

I believe we can have bouts of stuff in our lives. We can actually see it go away and then return. The only way it is going to go away for good is through the authority of Jesus Christ. Medicine can help in some cases too.

In my life I simply say something like this

I bind you up in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not above the name of Jesus Christ. I command you to go away in the name of Jesus Christ.

You can try it!

O.K...I'm going to jump in, here.
I can really feel the fear you are experiencing
in your post, OP, and first of all I want you
to know YOU ARE NOT ALONE. You can see that there
are gentle, caring people coming into the thread
to offer you their comfort and their support. I
do not feel that GLP is a "lunatic fringe forum"
as one of the nasty posters described GLP early-
on....This is a good and safe place for you right
now, or your "higher Self" wouldn't have directed
you to come here. (Actually, you are at home on
your computer--or at least I assume you are in a
relatively safe and quiet environment to type your
thread, right?) So--you probably would do well to
limit your movements (don't drive, operate heavy
machinery, or make important decisions) until this
"fog" and anxiety feeling passes.
I'll tell you a quick story--hope it helps.
There is an element of "superstition" that floats
quietly in the background noise of most places in
the U.S.A. It's pervasive in EVERY religion, in
every belief system, because it is PRIMAL...it comes
through the collective unconscious of our DNA and
we can pretend that it doesn't effect our lives,
sugar-coat it with our prayers and rituals....but
it's there, non-the-less....look at October 31st
coming up....It has it's own "holiday" for a reason!
That said....We read the Ouija Board at a party once
when I was around 10 years old. I thought that it was
just a "Game" and I didn't take seriously what the
answers to the "psychic-medium" of the Ouija reported.

My Aunt, on the otherhand, laughed along with all the
other guests and shouted out questions for the 2
silly "kids" playing the Ouija Board (me & a friend)
"WHEN WILL I DIE?" (The room roared with laughter--
so we just went ahead and asked the board!)
The Ouija Board was very specific and gave just
2 numbers for my aunt...."62"
We all just forgot about it--she was in her 30's
at the time....I doubt if she even remembered the
party or the Ouija board's answer. But, sure
enough, when her 62nd birthday rolled around, she
was full of fear and had all kinds of physical
symptoms. We had a birthday party for her, just as
we celebrated all the family member's birthdays.
Auntie passed-out at the dinner table and we
had to call 911. No, she didn't die! She just had
filed-away that strange evening 32 years earlier
that she would die at age 62....and she made herself
sick thinking about it!
Someone at the dinnertable after they took her away
to the hospital said...."The Ouija Board party....
remember?" and we all knew it was psychosomatic.
*(look up psychosomatic if you don't know what it
means...it may be important to what you are feeling!)
Also pay close attention to EARTH CHANGES and the event
in your area that may affect your physical health....
Do you live close to New Orleans? Folks near that
sinkhole are feeling pretty wierd right now!
You'll be just fine. And if your symptoms increase
or you notice anything else, for sure seek medical
attention. But 99.999% of our physical illnesses start
in our minds.
Cheers!

Same here bro.

You should try the Terminator Zapper, google it.

It helps clearing of the "brain fog" as Truther Girl Sonya calls it (LOL).

Basically it allows you to get rid of all internal parasites etc.

I will strap on mine right now ( but no before I have this big fat joint, the stuff is Dutch :)

you're schizophrenic. go see a shrink. dont ask for "help" on lunatic fringe websites. you wont get any. schizoids tend to "tip over" into the delusional state between puberty and late 20s. you're there. dont wait, dont look for alternatives. go asap.

Ok, I've been a proud member of GLP for 9 years.

Now, I am embarrassed and ashamed at some of your responses.

Trin should ban all of you that have posted some shit responses.

What if this was you, your son, daughter, niece, nephew?

C'mon people, get it together. Some is asking for help - and we turn on them?

OP -

Get some rest if possible.
Please speak with your parents - if you can't, seek a counselor at school, and get some help.

With the correct medications and support, you will be fine.

Take care.

At the same time I developed the ability to HATE Everyone and all thing on a new level while drinking..Even beer 4 beer and I HATE on a new level... My story is really close to OP'S past only I was on depression med's 60 mg a day...NOT GOOD...Kicked the med's took 2 yr's but all is good now just cannot drink...If OP is a drinker...NEED TO STOP RIGHT NOW...

ok y for that, i have a friend that was asked about lucid dreaming by a shrink, which my friend said they did, the medication they were given after seeing that shrink gave them sleep paralysis to the point they couldnt wake themselves up, let alone inflence their own dreams.years after quitting the medication theyve achieved laucidity but not as they had before.Ive never heard of shrinks specifically asking about lucid dreaming(you obviously arent a shrink lol) but i am wondering about the correlation after seeing your post.

Re: Anyone know mental health here? I am really scared.
OP, many mental imbalances are caused by environmental influences and severe nutritional problems.

You could have both and they will cause endocrine problems on top of everything else.

You need to immediately eliminate all stimulants (coffee, black tea) SUGARS snacks (with MSG etc), and potential metal sources.

You need to participate in *exhaustive* physical exercise and you need to drink purified water - at least 1 gallon per day.

Before you seek any "official" help who will give you damaging chemicals, you need to purify your body.

Go Vegan for one week. Avoid all soy and protein except for organic eggs. avoid all milk, sweets, cake, beans, alcohol, wheat, starch, NUTS - avoid nuts like the plague.

Eat only organic vegetable for one week. I'm dead serious. Kale, carrots, radishes, broccoli, lettuce, avocados, tomatoes, limes, CILANTRO, Eat them by the ton until your jaw aches. If you have $200, get an Omega juicer and just drink veggie juice 5 times per day.

Walk around the block or jog or do pushups for as long as it takes to wear you out so you can sleep in a pure blackout state.

To get going in the morning drink unsweetened Yerba Mate tea and take a magnesium citrate suppliment twice per day.

If you are type O blood, take a rhodiola pill (herb) once per day in the evening. If any other blood type, take Panax ginseng in the morning.

Your health (including mental) is mostly influenced by what you eat and what you don't eat.

Follow this religiously for a week before you talk to any of the white-coated murderers.
