As pointed out earlier, more and more quakes have occurred around the area least hit so far. These spots have almost converged to a single point. The latest ones were near American Canyon near Napa and Central California near King City with more and more energy released in Southern California fueling the movement of the faults. From SFO to San Jose, we may be having a convergence. Geomagnetic storm was subsiding, but something is fueling the disturbance. Perhaps, the close flybys of the Draconids and the recent flybys by two asteroids. Weather forecast for SF Bay Area has changed from sunny to rainy within a matter of a day again perhaps due to increased ionization in the atmosphere. Normal pattern is for earthquakes to occur in Southern California, then Central California including the California/Nevada border, then finally Northern California including the California/Oregon border. This time earthquakes have occurred on both sides of the SF Bay Area. I would not be surprised by a small magnitude earthquake near Gilroy or Alum Rock. |
