The British Jews like all Jews are unhappy because they feel they are marginalized in the Media.
Melanie Phillips a ardent Zionist and a Jewess goes to Israel to complain about the Media. The BBC is supposed to be neutral non partisan to movements or groups; theoretically speaking owned by the people as they pay the license free, but its totally controlled from top down to bottom by the infestation of tribal members with beaked noses. They create the problem and then highlight it in bold colors. The proposed mosque in east London as highlighted in the original post is planned by a group Known as the Tablique Jammat (the mainstream Muslims are not too fond of them). The Saudis are unlikely to back them as they are ultra Sufi-oriented with deviations, this particular group is welcomed in Israel that should should tell you what sort of Islam they follow. The issue is couple of years old anyway and the planning was not given unless severely modified.
