I cant even get a decent over the counter filter at my local store. The only choice i see that i can purchase in store is an osmosis filtering set up that has to be instaled under the sink. And its not cheap. Any other alternatives? You need at least a 2 stage filter with one stage being acrivated alimina, or reverse osmosis or simalar technology. The pur ad take a negative about hte product and tries to make it a positive, common practice in marketing. Do some research on Britta and other cheap filters and see what each removes....you won't find fluoride on any of them. |

Now i like the sound of that, cuz my pitcher sits out for that long anyway before i drink any of the water. Interesting. So it is a gas like property like the other poster had stated.
