REAL PROBLEM IS ..... The ingested particles, via breathing, eating or drinking
are CUMULATIVE, for the Cesium 134 and 137, plutonium, Strontium, etc.

First symptoms are LONG overdue for this, BUT, will be misdiagnosed as flu, virus, etc. by doctors either TOO stupid to know, to heavily into government fear with NO worries from a population TOO STUPID to know OR CARE ! As 'they' say, you can teach the ignorant, but you can't FIX STUPID !

Oh, well. DOES help clean out the gene pool and achieve elite's population reduction program.

Exactly. I have a friend in Iowa just reported her heart acting up. Wisconsin (last few days) and SD, right next to Iowa, show big radiation spikes.

My dog has been throwing up all morning. I got up so dizzy headed, I almost fell over a table. I just feel I need to go back to sleep. Could this be caused from radiation?

Where are these readinsg coming from? Is it from multiple sources, or the single website? There must be someone out there with a rad meter that can take background cpm to confirm these readings.

It just sounds too strange that it has jumped to 1000 cpm so rapidly... A count of 100 cpm sustained is cause for public alert. 1000 cpm sustained is cause for evacuation! If this continues at this rate, and has been confirmed as accurate, then there is a catastrophic event taking place at a facility somewhere within that region. If you are in that area, you need to evaluate your situation carefully.
 Quoting: In-Situ

I'm pretty sure those are EPA readings. We're fucked and it's all because of Fukushima. No one wants to accept this inconvenient truth. It was never going to kill us right away but the rad levels have been increasing over the past 18 months.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10957384

Yes, but California would show high readings too, but they are normal. I used a pancake probe yesterday and collected background readings. They were normal sustained 25cpm. I don't think this event (if it even is one) is a result of Fukushima. But I do agree with the rest of your points regarding Fukushima. It is by far the most serious event taking place on the planet at this time, but no one is paying much attention...

In southwestern Alabama, feeling alright. Will update if that changes. Looks like from right clicking and opening the images from the posted links in a new tab that the charts and graphs are from epa's radnet, in this case, at the least:

Cities along the jetstream are showing high readings.

Spokane, WA
Kearney, NE
Madison, WI
Louisville, KY
Charleston, WV
Harrisonburg, VA

Some cities graphs are blank.

This is not good and not normal.

son of a bitch.....i am in Va beach on vacation. I didnt notice anything yesterday, however we spent most of the day indoors since it was raining like crazy. Took a late night walk along the shore, but it was a quick one since it was so windy and rainy. I will have to keep an eye out for anytihng out of the ordinary.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2494120

There is a direct link between rain and contamination.
To understand the implications of the Fiasco at Fuku.. one must understand Chernobyl.

[link to www.neimagazine.com]

[snip]

The central focus occurred during the initial active stage of fallout. Two other foci were formed on 28-29 April 1986 due to fallout in rain. Rain is the most effective means of washing radioactive substances out of atmosphere. Most microparticles (diameter of some tens of microns) fall with rain. In spring 1986 it did not rain often. In those places where it did rain, there was a considerable precipitation of radioactive substances. Depending on their distance and direction from the accident, the spots have differing radionuclide content that is defined by the progress of the accident and the dynamics of the meteorological situation. The spots are strictly inhomogeneous; spot intensity can vary greatly, and spot intensity does not correlate with distance from Chernobyl. The dominant radionuclide within the spots is caesium-137 (half life: 30.17 years). Full information about the contamination of Europe with radioactive caesium is given in [1].

Gamma Ray Bursts & Fallout At 37 Times Background Radiation

[link to www.youtube.com]

The events were as follows:

1pm RAIN 10x over background
5pm STORM 20x over background
11pm STORM 37x background

The value recorded in the chart is a one minute average reading. Our radiation alarm triggers off of a 30 second moving average for anything over 50 CPM. We estimate that the instantaneous Gamma burst detection peaked at 600 counts.

Sept 8th 2012, Eastern Ontario 11:45 am 4.63 micro-sieverts divided by 0.14 micro-sieverts {My normal average background} = 33.7 X background. A new record in screaming high rads for me. It had been raining steady here from about 6 am so I really wasn't expecting to catch anything like this. Since I began our rain and snow here {November 2011} the number have shown a steady increase.

Re: Massive Radiation in Virginia
According to the presentation below by Simon Fraser University’s Kris Starosta, a rainwater sample measured in the Vancouver area had levels of radioactive iodine-131 at 10 becquerels/liter [Bq/l], which corresponds to 10^7 particles of I-131 per liter of water [10^7 = 10,000,000].

The post-Fukushima peak for I-131 in the U.S. appears to have been in the San Francisco Bay Area, where levels reached 19.85 Bq/l.

An I-131 level of 19.85 Bq/l detected in the Bay Area rain sample is equivalent to 19,850,000 particles of I-131 per liter.

Re: Massive Radiation in Virginia
I have been checking radiation levels even since the tsunami in Japan. I can say that there was somewhat of a rise to 60 CPM right after Japan in VA where I live some of the time.
I kept checking until several months ago and was very surprised at how low the levels had gotten and remained. In SW VA they went down to 20-30 CPM and in NJ where I live now the CPM are about the same. I have not checked in several months but will check today.

Sometimes I wonder if they just bombard us with massive amounts of useless information to confuse us all and make us give up trying to figure out what is rally going on. SO I SAY NEVER GIVE UP SEEKING THE TRUTH.

Reality is getting stranger and stranger every day and starting to be too much for people to handle. Let us all be kind to one another and be patient with one another as I feel reality is only going to become more difficult not less.

The Harrisonburg VA numbers have been off the charts high for many months since I began watching them. It is localized there, but I would avoid I-81 through that stretch if possible. There are rumors and speculation (I cannot find a source to confirm) that nuclear waste storage underground is leaking there.

I am in Virginia, outside Fredricksburg and my geigercounter says all is OK here... nuclear fallout wise. I did however have the opportunity to be wanding over my California grown strawberries and grapes newly purchased yesterday, as well as fresh broccoli that was not sourced... and you know what ticked up as the most radioactive item on the kitchen counter? Much to my dismay - it was a pile of M&Ms I was nibbling on while I worked. :-(

Maybe it's just averages - but if it spikes over 500, I want to know. In any case, the data do not agree.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9069073

Radiation Network is the only private radiation survey I know of. It is not controlled by any government agency. Their coverage is a little spotty because they are all volunteer. Every reporting station is an independant radiation monitor. The radiation meters are hooked directly to the computer, so nobody is controlling the reading. I trust Radiation Network way more than any other report, because they are not trying to control the info as it goes out. The only way you miss a high radiation event is if they don't have a reporting station near the event. When they get a high reading, they will figure out why and let you know what caused it.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

It is Fukushima, and if you choose to be aware of it, it has been happening since 3/11/11. Realize that the soil in Tokyo would be considered nuclear waste here in the usa.

[link to fairewinds.org]

There has been an increase worldwide I'm sure of still births, miscarriages, etc. However, we will more than likely never know the true numbers since it's all being covered up while we are all lied to.

Fukushima is changing the world as we know it and the effects will show up for a very long time.

It honestly amazes me when people respond on this website like they've never heard a thing about it.

The deformed flowers, food, dandelions, trees, etc. all signs of radiation. Sick sea life showing up in california and along the ring of fire with radiation sickness symptoms.
