and still nobody knows why this happened?

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Officials are trying to figure out what caused water levels to drop twice in a four-day span this summer along the Shenandoah River's North Fork.

The Daily News-Record ( [link to DON'T_USE-THIS] reports the Shenandoah Riverkeeper advocacy group has sent letters asking about 800 landowners to report unusual observations about the river.

Data taken from a U.S. Geological Survey gauge near Strasburg shows the water level dropped more than 3 inches on June 29, the day a severe windstorm struck the region. The levels dropped again on July 3.

The river's level hit 1.7 feet on June 29 after being at about 2.4 feet around June 20. In the span of a few hours on June 29, the water flow went from 175 to 65 cubic feet per second.

Gauges throughout Shenandoah County and north to Winchester reported alarming water-level losses, while those in Rockingham County didn't show a severe drop.

I was kayaking the north fork over the summer the water level is naturally lower in the summer but it was horribly low when I went. I would notI even call it kayaking it was more like we were just walking on the rocks in the river it sucked.

Where are these readinsg coming from? Is it from multiple sources, or the single website? There must be someone out there with a rad meter that can take background cpm to confirm these readings.

It just sounds too strange that it has jumped to 1000 cpm so rapidly... A count of 100 cpm sustained is cause for public alert. 1000 cpm sustained is cause for evacuation! If this continues at this rate, and has been confirmed as accurate, then there is a catastrophic event taking place at a facility somewhere within that region. If you are in that area, you need to evaluate your situation carefully.

Okay, first off it wasn't just a severe wind storm, it was a LAND HURRICANE. The most freaky weather you have ever seen. It leveled trees all over the place....we are still cleaning up.

But what would make the water disappear?

Huge mother ship taking on clean water supply? Seriously, that is all I can think of.

Re: Massive Radiation in Virginia
It's something that is happening locally. Beta particles are not supposed to travel well.

[link to hps.org]

Beta Radiation

Beta radiation is a light, short-range particle, and is actually an ejected electron. Some characteristics of beta radiation are:

Beta radiation may travel several feet in air and is moderately penetrating.

Beta radiation can penetrate human skin to the "germinal layer," where new skin cells are produced. If high levels of beta-emitting contaminants are allowed to remain on the skin for a prolonged period of time, they may cause skin injury.

Beta-emitting contaminants may be harmful if deposited internally.

Most beta emitters can be detected with a survey instrument and a thin-window G-M probe (e.g., "pancake" type). Some beta emitters, however, produce very low-energy, poorly penetrating radiation that may be difficult or impossible to detect. Examples of these difficult-to-detect beta emitters are hydrogen-3 (tritium), carbon-14, and sulfur-35.

Clothing provides some protection against beta radiation.

Examples of some pure beta emitters: strontium-90, carbon-14, tritium, and sulfur-35.

I'm pretty sure those are EPA readings. We're fucked and it's all because of Fukushima. No one wants to accept this inconvenient truth. It was never going to kill us right away but the rad levels have been increasing over the past 18 months.

I have decided that [link to www.radiationnetwork.com] is useless, if not BS/disinfo.

Maybe it's just averages - but if it spikes over 500, I want to know. In any case, the data do not agree.

REAL PROBLEM IS ..... The ingested particles, via breathing, eating or drinking
are CUMULATIVE, for the Cesium 134 and 137, plutonium, Strontium, etc.

First symptoms are LONG overdue for this, BUT, will be misdiagnosed as flu, virus, etc. by doctors either TOO stupid to know, to heavily into government fear with NO worries from a population TOO STUPID to know OR CARE ! As 'they' say, you can teach the ignorant, but you can't FIX STUPID !

Oh, well. DOES help clean out the gene pool and achieve elite's population reduction program.

I think it's the same reasons why some areas hear the roaring sound for a while, while others don't. Vortices of energy are coming in from space.
