I picked up some Turkey Jurkey yesterday. It's now good for a year or more from today! mmmmm... i ate it however.

The last addition to my preps were

freeze dried peanut butter

freeze dried oat groats

freeze dried black beans

freeze dried hamburger

here's your easy trick to keep critters out of your beans, etc...

You need to put each bag into the freezer, for 3 full days.
That will kill any larvae of those danged weevils or those horrid little moths.

Then you put them in their sealed plastic bag and into your large sealed container.

I do this always with anything I bring home from the store. Makes life much more pleasant.

Buy lots of lentils. Find a brand which is reasonably fresh. There's a huge variance in that. Lentils are really good for you, and between that and kale, you are doing well.

Don't forget your salt! Honey is better than sugar, and even costco sells it by the BIG bucket.
