Why are all of these Muslim rings so cheap?  google "sufi ring" or "sufi Jewelry" You will find something more similar to this ring. I've been in the jewelry business and I have never seen anything recently produced like what Obama is wearing. This has to be a rather old piece. I think the origin of this ring is going to tell far more then what the script says. AC, since you're in this line of work, how does one go about finding out the origin? Thanks, Miggy The ring is definitely islamic. The interesting part is that it's made of gold. Most muslims don't wear gold jewelry, most except for the "Twelver Shiism' Just doing a brief bit of research these are the only muslims I can find that made/wore gold jewelry.
