Why did Bodhidharma come from the West?

the west is observed as the place where the sun sets, and the place where the spirit leaves at death for egyptians. Perhaps his spirit came from beyond the limits of life and death having realized true zen.

Are words meaningful because of what is within them or because of what is outside of them?
It's all energy, you can decode it into words but some things may be lost in translation.

Can you be killed?

The Buddha who can be killed is not the true Buddha.

It is a possibility I can be killed but if everything is impermanent then so is death.

Invisible, created with purpose to change another's thoughts, beliefs and actions, the words virtually force one to agree with the manipulator's point of view, give them what they want, do what they ask and buy what they are selling. Words are so reasonable, so logical, so believable that one's response is almost automatic.

Their enormous power lies in what the words MEAN to the person who hears them. They trigger concepts, ideas, memories, situations, circumstances, actions, thoughts and feelings from one's subconscious mind into corresponding emotional responses toward the subject at hand.

Consequently, the decisions based on them are NOT based on truth, common sense, logic, legality, one's best interests or right and wrong.

I will rephrase my original question:

How would one go about interpreting input signals without words?

I still use words, but do reverse emanation, look for the dense returning to subtle, from the words to the tone, the tone to the body, the body to the face, and also direct pineal - pineal or heart - heart communication can be done with comfortable individuals who are truly open to unity, I do this with a mix of words and feeling.

Thank you, I like being questioned. That is the way I have always learned quickest. By me answering your question you receive light and I renew my light and the collective light becomes brighter. This light might also be what changes our DNA, we know gamma/x-rays can do this.

It is a zen mountaintop with a Japanese style tea house. The landscape and tress are like living in a Chinese landscape painting. The immortals come here sometimes and we fly and chant. Is this a literal pure land? I cannot say, when I look within the borders soften.

ahaha! What do I need? that is an ancient question. What I need is to need less, but this is not my reality, and because of this I can enjoy the duality knowing the picture of oneness. Spirit aligned my destiny to have a perfect mix of suffering and pleasure for my realization to manifest. It created me as much as I created it. What is the meaning of life? meaning is something you create, life creates you and you have the option to create it, maybe the meaning of life is the creation of the option to create? or maybe creation of destiny to create? either way they are one, which gives us consciousness, the unique mix of free will and destiny that alters reality.
