I believe OP. We bought a rad detector after the Fukushima. My husband who travels alot had been having metal taste in his mouth so we also got some spirulina. Used both and some idodine. But the rad detector went off quite often at that time in Nebraska...once it was going crazy where they were doing road work.??? We had even seen signs of radiation from out plants in our yard...the dandelions were mis shaped and some were just over sized..I also saw a few white birds (albino) after Fukushima. We did move and have not experienced our detector going off pretty much since we moved. I know there are areas getting hammered and yes the jet stream is helping determine where these areas are. Its scary since I also know that cows, hay, soy all types of crops and meats and milk are now all contaminated too but noone is going to tell you about it.

Thread: Koyle's Famine has begun -- 3 more bad summers before relief

...he examined the heads of wheat by crushing them in his hands to bring out the kernels. He found that the wheat was terribly shrunken and not fit for food. He was told by the messenger that this condition would bring about a shortage of food during the first year of harvest.

The second year he was shown would be the same only much less food raised. Still, the irrigated grain would be good. He was told we would need to store up the first and second years grain to supply food for the third and fourth years. The third year the shortage would be so great that there would hardly be anything raised for food. The fourth year they would not be able to raise anything for food.

**substitute 'ears of corn' for 'heads of wheat'
