Tons of people on woke up and talking about it on facebook from one end of the province to the other, this was something major.

I was thinking the same thing.

Felt it sounded like a stong boom then rumbling for a good 5 seconds

I'm worried about the lack of minor to moderate earthquakes in the New Madrid region in the central US. Un usual to not have any for a while.

Everyone is talking about the rumbling and boom sounds, we heard it too and it also ended with a boom...

They're saying 4.5 now and Valley of St-Hyacinthe as epicenter.

Same here, every since the swarm in Cali, I've been growing increasingly concernced that what we are seeing is the New Madrid struggling to maintain it's hold, in doing so it re-routes the pressure to other areas...

All other areas, in a circular radius, while decreasing activity within itself in the excersion...

New Madrid fault averages a 7.0 - 8.5 once every 500 or so years. Its been 201 years since the last major earthquake in New madrid Fault zone. Thats almost a 50% chance for a major quake in the next 50 years.
