That boom noise just before it shook was creepy! Earthquake at night are just...creepy!!!!

It was a high frequency rumble, and it was audible, i heard the rumbling pretty loudly. is this because of the soil structure underneath montreal? is it mostly rocks and therefore the frequency at which the vibrations are felt are much much higher?'

We felt it here in Laval at 12:20 AM. It started with a boom and it shook for a few seconds.

The Magnitude was around 3.5 to 4 I am an Earthquake expert this does not look good as montreal hasn't been shook since ages. This is a sign of something big as we get closer to December 21st 2012.

this is my first time experience. first i thought my heating furnished was exploded. Then i realised it was a earthquake. what a feeling. this moment i thought cousin family and my doughters.

Well, Im 10 minutes away from Longeuil and this one was the shit... Can't believe it's only a 4.5 and weird one... Like a big boom for 5 seconds... the shake continued for maybe a minute... First tought the building was going to collapse so I went on my balconery, preparing to jump on a car... this was looking more comfortable then the concrete... this been a long 5 seconds lol

what if it wasnt an earthquake? what if something hit the earth? ....i know youre all thinking we wouldve heard the sound of the impact first then the shaking. But we all heard it at the same time......just a thought
