Despite all of the Doom and Gloom, I am just going to live my life like there is no tomorrow. I dont know what will happen next but I am NOT going to worry about it! What will be will be!

Saying that you are "going to be" happy, means that you are not at the moment.

It's a mistake many people make, just say: I AM happy.

Thank you Czechster...."going to" is future tense, unless being used in the present continuous to refer to a place that you are currently moving towards, i.e., Where are you going?I'm going to the circus to see the assclowns.
You are either happy or you are not. Learn to speak English.
