Great golf course as well

I'd bet that Obama will be unsuccessful in setting up a tee-time on THAT golf course!!

Wynn: Iam a Democratic businessman I support Democrats and Republicans. And I'm telling you that the business community in this company is frightened to death of the weird political philosophy of the President of the United States. And until he's gone, everybody's going to be sitting on their thumbs.
 Quoting: PardiseLost

I have exactly ZERO SYMPATHY for Wynn. He's one of the morons who jumped on the Obama Bandwagon in 2008, and cut his own throat by doing so.

If he's so smart, he should have known better than to support an Academic Socialist ex-drug dealer for President. EXACTLY WHAT DID HE THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN???
 Quoting: PravdaDemocrat

In his defense if you just listened to obama in 2008 and didn't look to closely, the rhetoric sounded good.

Especially after the disaster of the bush regime.

He was taken in by a fast talking con man. A lot of people were.

No one wanted to realize that obama was a chicago thug with a gift for reading a speech.

And as it became clear later a collectivist who is bent on destroying everything that makes america a nominally free country.

Actually, some of us DID realize that Obama was a Chicago thug, a Marxist, and a muslim. Unfortunately, we were screamed down with charges of "Racist", which was such an egregious accusation that we recoiled in shock and dismay.

Now, after 4 years of hearing "racist" every time anyone questions his policies or actions, the word has lost its' sting, and we are coming back into "public" again in an attempt to lead you back in the right direction.

So if he makes His spending cash through other means than his salary and bonuses....Then I guess he doesn't really give away 120% of his total earnings!

This is just a rich man who has multiple levels of income coming in from all over the place stating that "ONE" form of his income is just given away!

SO WHAT!

If any regular Joe Blow stated something like this, the government would be all over them wondering where that other 20% came from!

Just because he gives away 120% percent, then does not mean he is not making 5000% income!

In math 100% is everything you got. Not 1% of what you actually have!

Obama was NEVER a Business man... he was a community organizer.. How would you like some FLUNKEY tell you HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS when he never did it himself.

Wynn On Obama:
Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts - "I'll be damned if I want to have him lecture me about small business and jobs.

I'm a job creator.

Guys like me are job creators and we don't like having a bulls-eye painted on our back," Wynn said about Obama to Ralston.

An excerpt of the interview is below.

WYNN: I've created about 250,000 direct and indirect jobs according to the state of Nevada's measurement. If the number is 250,000, that's exactly 250,000 more than this president, who I'll be damned if I want to have him lecture me about small business and jobs. I'm a job creator. Guys like me are job creators and we don't like having a bulls-eye painted on our back.

The president is trying to put himself between me and my employees. By class warfare, by deprecating and calling a group that makes money 'billionaires and millionaires who don't pay their share.' I gave 120% of my salary and bonus away last year to charities, as I do most years. I can't stand the idea of being demagogued, that is put down by a president who has never created any jobs and who doesn't even understand how the economy works.

what a joke, I toke Daddy's money and hooked up with one of the biggest criminals from the 80's to create 250,000 jobs.
gotta love these outta touch, rewrite history, idiots

"Wynn took over running the family's bingo operation in Maryland. His success allowed him to invest in a small stake for the Frontier Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where he and his wife Elaine moved in 1967."
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

"The Mirage was the first project in which he was involved in the design and construction of a casino. The $630 million cost to build the facility was financed largely with junk bonds issued by Michael Milken."
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Michael Robert Milken (born July 4, 1946) is an American business magnate, financier, and philanthropist noted for his role in the development of the market for high-yield bonds (also called "junk bonds") during the 1970s and 1980s, for his 1990 guilty plea to felony charges for violating US securities laws, and for his funding of medical research.[2]
Milken was indicted on 98 counts of racketeering and securities fraud in 1989 as the result of an insider trading investigation. After a plea bargain, he pled guilty to six securities and reporting violations but was never convicted of racketeering or insider trading. Milken was sentenced to ten years in prison and permanently barred from the securities industry by the Securities and Exchange Commission. After the presiding judge reduced his sentence for cooperating with testimony against his former colleagues and good behavior, he was released after less than two years.[3]

Yeah, and Fastfood restaurants create jobs too right?

More and more, I'm starting to realize that the GOP refuses to read more than the articles they find on Drudge or Fox (if they even get past the headline).
It makes me happy to see that most of the pinned articles are slanted towards the GOP (considering this is a lunatic fringe site) LOL!

That's right Obama ! Don't you dare lecture the guy who loves China more than the United States. Don't you dare lecture the guy who hires illegals through shell companies, which take the blame if the illegals are caught.

Get the F out of here GOPtards. Your inability to be objective is nauseating. I equally dislike both parties, but the GOP are most lost when it comes to telling the truth. They can only verify their political ambition through emotions - not facts.

Re: "I'll Be Damned If I Want Obama to Lecture Me" - I have created 250,000 Jobs. - Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts
Thank you Mr Wynn.

I bet all the haters on here have never created one job in their lifetime.

Wynn is very much correct in his assesment of other business people. Everyone I know is sitting on their thumbs instead of exapanding and growing cuz Mr. O has created such an atmosphere of class warfare, hate and anger against anyone that does good in this country. O is clueless.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21885735

I think the working men and women of the United States are tired of corporation taking and giving back low paying jobs. Mr. Wynn would not have a business if it was not for his employees and patrons. The difference between my great grandfather and Mr. Wynn, is that my great grandfather hotel business in Oklahoma was a success because his employees cared about my great grandfather and my great grandfather cared about his employees. He was proud of every employee, because he knew, they represented him, by the way they did their job. Every bed that was made and room that was cleaned was a reflection on him, and that they made his business a success.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21102346

And on the other hand, the employees would not have that job or the patrons the excellent experience of staying at one of Wynn's hotels without Steve Wynn.

Sorry, you are dead wrong on this one. I asked employees at the Wynn before the big hotel/casino went up what it was like to work there, because it was a nice place, and my reply from them was always very positive, no evasive negatives.

At that time he had only that one smaller hotel, and the security man at the gallery told me Steve Wynn knew every employee by name. Of course now with the big Wynn and Encore, this is probably not true. But I think Wynn is more like your great grandfather than the Obamas who reportedly treat their security people like S**T.

Today I still get very positive responses when I talk to the employees, almost always with a personal note. (I am very nosy, and ask people questions when I travel)

Steve Wynn did not start out a big corporation, he started out a bingo parlor owner. He made the corporation with the support of his employees, but none of whom I am sure worked the long hours and weekends that he and his wife did to make their business a success.

And on the other hand, how many of his employees, even the higher paid ones, will strike out on their own with their grubstake and become millionaires?

The thing about envy is it is so dammed stingy with credit where it is due, and spiteful toward those who are successful.

What have YOU done with your legacy from your great grandfather? Do you even own a pizza parlor with a staff of seven paid employees?

IT is so difficult to start a successful business in this repressive, socialist oriented, overtaxed country, and so easy to criticize those self-made successes who managed to overcome the obstacles.

I admire successful people. I admire Steve Wynn. He has created exceedingly beautiful hotels and resorts, and I love staying at them.

You can stay home and grumble, I am headed for the Wynn.

Wynn Resorts pays an average of 5% over the prevailing pay. There are thousands of well paying professional jobs at Wynn Resorts, and some jobs for relatively unskilled workers, like everywhere else. You can't realistically expect the busboy and dishwasher to make the same $$ as the Head Chef. Right?

There are a lot of jobs for technology professionals, designers, realty people, entertainment support, etc.

Re: "I'll Be Damned If I Want Obama to Lecture Me" - I have created 250,000 Jobs. - Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts
His name is really Steve Weinstein...a member of the tribe like Sheldon Adelson .... with deeps ties in business success to organized crime, political bribery and prostitution. I guess all of that is the cornerstone of American Business Success Stories for those who support Mint Monney.
