LOL Me, too...on both counts. :)

I eat California navel oranges. Good eatin'.

Interesting history about oranges. Oranges originally come from India. Here's their route:

The arabs were the first to trade with India. When the arabs spread west along north Africa and crossed the Straits of Gibraltar into the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal), they brought their foodstuffs with them (of which oranges were a part). The oranges thrived in the mild, Mediterranean climate of Spain (Valencia oranges). Then, of course, the Spanish came to the New World, and brought their foodstuffs. Spanish settled Florida. And there you have it.
Apollo astronauts couldn't have passed through Van Allen's Belt. Van Allen wore suspenders.

My mistake. I think oranges originated in southeast Asia. But still, the arabs were the ones who traded in that region and brought them back to the middle east, then to the Mediterranean, and finally to the new world. That's why still today Malaysia and Indonesia are muslim -- arab trading influence.
